America's Best Dance Crew Cancelled by MTV

America’s Best Dance Crew has shaken its last leg.
After enduring seven seasons on MTV (and one PR minefield, when judge/choreographer Shane Sparks was the target of child molestation allegations unrelated to the program), the Randy Jackson-produced dance competition has been cancelled by MTV, Variety reports.

ABDC — which enjoyed one of the better acronyms of any TV show — opened strong in 2008, averaging 2.7 million weekly viewers and a 2.5 rating in the cabler’s 12-34 target demo. This summer’s Season 7 finale, however, drew barely over a million viewers.
In a statement cited by Variety, MTV says, “We are grateful to Randy Jackson and [production studio] Warner Horizon for having brought our audience seven amazing seasons of dance… and look forward to more successful and dynamic entertaining collaborations in the future.”

Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko has
allegedly issued a statement
regarding the morning debacle
between himself and Kiss 100′s
Caroline Mutoko.
The press statement shared by
Kenyan Press explained his reasons
for the outburst among other things.
It reads;
PRESS STATEMENT BY HON.MIKE
SONKO, SENATOR –NAIROBI COUNTY.
Following Caroline Mutoko’s horrid
sentiments in her morning show, I
would wish to state the following;
I’m a man of the people and by
abusing poor Nairobians saying that
they are coming for the handouts in
my office made me get annoyed. I
don’t like seeing people suffering so
when a person comes all the way
from Rongai or any other far place to
seek my assistance on school fees,
land problems, medical attention,
business capital etc, I always try my
best and give them bus fare and at
least something to eat that day.
There is no way a poor woman will
seek education assistance for her
daughter or son and I fail to give
her pocket money or a shopping
voucher.Not every woman is as rich
as Caroline, earning over 800K and
spending it with her family. She
annoyed me because she belittled
my people for seeking my help.
I sacrifice myself and share my salary
with my people. Regarding to “Plans
za Kesho” as she quoted I have
financed, managed and initiated
various youth projects. I want the
youth of this country to succeed; I
want them to make a name for
themselves because I understand
how hard life can be and I have
been there before. Is Caroline
paying hospital bills, maternity fees,
donating working tools, car wash
machines, water tanks etc? Is this
giving handouts?
The role of the senator is beyond
what I am doing on the ground for
Kenyans. As a senator, my role is
purely legislative but I try my best
to go an extra mile to take
leadership down to the common
Mwananchi I have always reiterated
that I won’t allow anyone to joke
around with my family.
Previously in the same show, they
discussed how Chipukeezy will
impregnate the President’s daughter
and today they discussed the same
in respect to my daughter. This
prompted me to responded not out
of anger but out of love for my
daughter just as any father would. I
appreciate the fact that he’s made
an effort to issue out a public
apology but the damage has already
been done. Very serious allegations
have been levelled against me and
I’d like to tell Ms. Mutoko that I was
cleared by the Court and if she has
any evidence she is free to present
it. With that said, I will always stand
by my people, I will help them out
whenever I can and nobody is going
to change that.

After being rubbished with heavy words from the Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko,KISS 100 presentor Chipukeezy finally  decided to extend his apology on facebook after the Nairobi Senator refused to listen to him  and this is what he had to say on his facebook timeline:

Nairobi senator, Mike sonko and Mombasa Governor, Hassan Joho are rumoured to  exchanged some blows at the khadija primary
school in Mombasa. This is during the issuance of title deeds to the thousands of squatters who got land from the government
It is said that Sonko and Joho had a verbal exchange before hell broke loose and sonko tried to throw some jabs at Joho. But Joho,
who has an athletic and well built body knocked Sonko down to the ground. Sonko seemed to have a clear and pre-meditated plan to attack the Mombasa governor but like Mike Tyson once said, “everyone has a plan un till they get hit”
Reliable sources told us that some of Sonko’s gold necklaces fell in to the grass due to the impact of the blow and he was helped to find
them by his body guards. It has not yet been established why the two respected leaders decided to go the blows way.
Sonko is known to punch concrete walls and it has now emerged that Joho might be more hard than concrete This seems to be the best way for our leaders to settle their conflicts since it lasted for a few seconds and everything went back to normal

Monday, August 26, 2013 – Recently Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko came out saying that he is the best father in the world and treats his daughters and wife like queens which was evident if photos from their London holiday is anything to go by.

To even show this further, Mike Sonko bought one of his daughters a top of the range ride in form of a reward.

According to sources Sonko bought her a posh sports car whose estimated value is Sh. 6 million.
